How much does Countryside House Calls charge per visit?
Fees depend on service time, services needed, and your location. A complete list of our fee schedule is on our Office page.
Will my insurance reimburse me for Countryside House Calls’ services?
Many major health insurance providers will reimburse house call fees, but every plan is different. You should check with your insurance company for specifics about your coverage. We provide each patient a statement to facilitate submitting your claim, but we do not file claims directly. Medicare reimbursement pending Medicare enrollment.
Is a Countryside House Calls medical practioner always available?
Physician Assistants are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If I am experiencing an emergency, should I call Countryside House Calls?
We are not an emergency room replacement, and we do not treat patients experiencing chest pains, shortness of breath, or head trauma, as these may require immediate hospitalization. If you are having a medical emergency, please go to the emergency room or dial 911 immediately.
Does Countryside House Calls treat all ages?
Our medical practioners will treat ages 6 and older.
Will Countryside House Calls come to my office?
Yes, Countryside House Calls is an at-your-door service. We will come to your home, office, or hotel.
What geographic area does Countryside House Calls serve?
We currently serve patients in most Marion County zip codes. We will be expanding to include all of Marion County.
What is a Physician Assistant?
Physician Assistants are licensed medical/surgical practtioners, trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat illnesses using the same medical/surgical model as physicians and surgeons. A Physician Assistant provides a wide range of physician procedures and services, including assisting in surgery and prescribing medications.
Physician Assistants practice medicine or surgury with the supervision of a licensed physician and are held to the same practice and patient care standards as are physicians and surgeons. The physician is always available for consultation if necessary.
What separates Countryside House Calls from other health care providers?
Countryside House Calls patients receive medical attention typically within 4-6 hours of your call in the comfort of your home, office, or hotel room. Our Pysician Assistants spend an average of 30-40 minutes with each patient, during which time we can diagnose and treat most medical conditions.
Does Countryside House Calls accept health insurance?
Countryside House Calls is not able to accept any health insurance for now We are presently applying to see Medicare patients and enrollment is pending. However, many insurance companies will reimburse you for the housecall visit. Check with your own provider, since all companies are different

Countryside House Calls, Inc. was founded by Douglas Nagle, PA-C. The company was established for the purpose of providing home or worksite medical care as an adjunct and extension to the present health care system, because of the disabling conditions of chronic disease, aging, and the inability to access healthcare in a timely manner.
